Weald of Kent 10m

The race takes place in late June every year, and the course takes runners through the countryside around the lanes of the Weald of Kent, near the villages of Benenden and Frittenden. The course is mainly flat, although the temperature can be a bit on the warm side!

2011 Event

The 2011 event took place on 26th June. We hope you all enjoyed the race despite the hot temperatures.

List of Prize Winners

Paddock Wood would have won the mens team competition, but race winner Paul Hasler only entered on the day, therefore Maidstone Harriers are the winners.

For the vets prizes the first 6 places shown for all categories but prizes areonly for 1st place in each vet category and first 3 in mens and ladies races. Dave Davies was 3rd overall but 1st MV50 so took MV50 prize and Rob Rowland took 3rd overall in his place. Sharon Hawkins 2nd lady and 2nd  FV35 but Tina Oldershaw took 1st overall so Sharon took 1st FV35, Kim Howes and Jane Johnstone move up a place each in ladies overall race.
