Provisional Race Results 2009:
The 2008 event took place on Sunday June 22nd - the official results are shown below. The race photo gallery is now online, and if you have any you want us to put us on the site please e-mail them to us.
Paddock Wood would have won the mens team competition, but race winner Paul Hasler only entered on the day, therefore Maidstone Harriers are the winners.
For the vets prizes the first 6 places shown for all categories but prizes areonly for 1st place in each vet category and first 3 in mens and ladies races. Dave Davies was 3rd overall but 1st MV50 so took MV50 prize and Rob Rowland took 3rd overall in his place. Sharon Hawkins 2nd lady and 2nd FV35 but Tina Oldershaw took 1st overall so Sharon took 1st FV35, Kim Howes and Jane Johnstone move up a place each in ladies overall race.
Both Mens and Ladies course records were broken.
The first Weald of Kent 10m in 2006 attracted 202 finishers as well as a further 46 in the junior fun run. The results of the 10 mile race and the fun run are below.
